My mecchanic, Bill Mack of Mack Motorsports in Attleboro, MA (plug) cheated on this one. He told me that he got the needed compression by first fitting the bushings and the metal parts then turning the steering wheel all the way to the end of its travel, tightening the nuts and then turning the wheel all the way to the other side and tightening that one. It seemed to do the trick. Ron |
