I want to sincerely thank all of you who wrote such nice comments ab=
out The Roadster
Factory recently and also those of you who had less kind remarks to make.=
Hello to former
employee, Mark Gendron, who contributed a kind comment to this thread. Tr=
uly, The Roadster
Factory is a British car company, and we have to do a good job at the wor=
k of providing services
to our customers. We feel that we achieve a good level of success in most=
areas, and we are glad
to learn that really most LBC enthusiasts on the internet agree.

This past week, we had three TR enthusiasts in from England. They ar=
rived on Tuesday,
stayed overnight in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and had dinner with John Swaug=
er and me at The
Coventry Inn. They were wonderful people, they genuinely enjoyed The Road=
ster Factory, and
we had a super evening with them at The Coventry Inn. This was, in fact, =
the first time that I
have had a chance to entertain my own personal guests at The Coventry Inn=
, and I was delighted
with the results. The beer and wine were good, the food was good, the ser=
vice was good, and the
ambience was superb. I built The Coventry Inn for British car enthusiasts=
, many of whom may
never get a chance to visit England, so I brought a little piece of it ho=
me for anyone who comes
to Western Pennsylvania and The Roadster Factory.

I'd like to take this opportunity to invite any of you, who get a ch=
ance, to stop in and visit
The Roadster Factory and The Coventry Inn. They are a very cute pair of b=
usinesses, and you
will most likely have a great time. If you are traveling through Western =
Pennsylvania, it is easy
to visit us without getting too far off the Interstates. There are lots o=
f nice things to do in our
area which includes Indiana and Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Indiana has the=
Jimmy Stewart
Museum, and Johnstown has a great Flood Museum and a super industrial her=
itage similar to
Pittsburgh but in a small mountain town. Within two miles of The Roadster=
Factory there is a
world-class hiking and biking trail, and there are many other sites for f=
amily fun and learning
within a fifty-mile radius of The Roadster Factory. Consider coming for o=
ur Summer Party in
August and staying a few extra days to have a good time in the mountains =
of Western
Pennsylvania.

Speaking of The Summer Party, we have been working on a format chang=
e which will
retain all of the events while lowering the price by about $20.00 per per=
son this year. The
Summer Party is held on August 8th, 9th, and 10th this year. Read all abo=
ut it in the newsletter
being mailed Tuesday.

Note that TRF wants your business this spring, and we are doing a ve=
ry good job of
taking and shipping orders. Because of another sale going on in the trade=
during March, we have
decided also to offer a 15% discount on any order over $100.00 through Ap=
ril 5th. Note also that
TRF prices will go up by 3% across the board on April 7th. This sale is f=
ull described in the
newsletter that will be received in about one week by everyone on our cur=
rent mailing list. The
discount is in effect now.

The Roadster Factory is offering a new car club idea which is also d=
escribed in our new
newsletter. This is called The TRF Car Club, and it will provide our cust=
omers with some fun
and good deals and with an informative quarterly newsletter dealing speci=
fically with new laws
and legal problems relating to owning and driving a British car into the =
21st Century.

This writer has been very busy for the past eight or ten year=
s. Running The Roadster
Factory in a diminishing market. Building The Coventry Inn without bank f=
inancing. Helping to
raise four children. Restoring several cars. And trying to have a bit of =
personal life. I've not had
time to spend until now in getting involved with the internet. And until =
now, it probably didn't
make much sense for TRF to be very much involved. However, we plan to est=
ablish a simple
web site in the near future, and we have begun to monitor the Triumph lis=
t and other lists for
items of interest. I myself will read most of the items posted on the Tri=
umph list in future, and I
will prepare a general response every week or two, also providing news it=
ems about The
Roadster Factory to anyone interested. You can send specific items to us =
directly at
TRFmail@aol.com, and I will also read these. I will not have time to answ=
er dozens of personal
letters daily, but I will direct any pertinent items to other TRF staff. =
Please provide daytime
telephone numbers and fax numbers in your e-mail communications so that w=
e may choose to
get back to you by conventional methods if these are more appropriate for=
specific subject
matter.

Just a few quick words while we are signed on. As we venture out ont=
o the internet, I
thought it might be good to say hello to all of you out there. We are exc=
ited about the prospects
of having a Web Site, and we thank all of you who have offered suggestion=
s on how to get
started. As things develop, we will keep you posted.

Plans for The Summer Party are being made, and spring in Pennsylvani=
a is nearly here. I
have had my TR6 out for almost a month now between late winter snow showe=
rs, and Charles
has been driving the TR5 on a regular basis too. In the newsletter that i=
s on the way to you, there
is an article announcing that Triumph will be the featured marque at this=
year's Summer Party.
We would like to have as many Triumphs in Armagh that weekend as possible=
- all models, all
conditions. Spread the word and let's see how many we can turn out. This =
doesn't mean that The
Summer Party is going to be for Triumphs only, we want as many different =
British cars and
bikes at the party as possible, but we do want to honor Triumph.

nts in the newsletter. I
have gathered these dates from announcements that have been sent to us an=
d from reading the
many club newsletters that I get each month. We are glad to list your clu=
b event at no charge in
