Just finished reading the article in "Car and Driver" about the comparison
of the latest Mercedes, BMW , and Porsche sports cars. The bit on the BMW
was full of language comparing the Z3 to a TR6 as far as sound and feel. I
don't know whether to be insulted or amused. They are altogether different
approaches and eras, as far as I'm concerned. Still flattering to know that
some in the mainstream auto press still hold the old cars in high regard.
Next time someone asks me what kind of car I have, my response could be "A
forerunner of the current BMW Z3." ;-)
