Spitfire (& others) gas mileage

Listers, 

Thanks for all of the responses on Spitfire gas mileage. I think I have
some work to do on mine, if the weather will ever cooperate.

I am planning to compile the responses and submit the results to the
list. If anyone else would care to respond and be included, please do so
soon.
