I have a question. I am rebuilding a transmission for a 71 Mark IV Spitfire FH series transmission. It has a steel bell housing. I also have an FC series transmission with an aluminum bell housing. Is the lighter one of any benefit, or is it too weak for the 1300 cc engine? David Chiahotny 70 E-type ots (0 to 60 in 8 years) Hamilton, Ont. 71 spitfire (transmission all over my bench) |
