Re: the gearbox and cases issue... I too have a couple of trannys sitting in the garage, reputedly from TR3's. One is labelled Stanpart, however. I've wondered whether to keep them in reserve as spare guts for the TR4, and exactly what they would and wouldn't fit, what they may be worth...all I know is that they appear complete.
