Grettings fellow listers; got my cam back from Isky. It looks real nice.
My question concerns the reinstallation of the timing chain. The Hanyes
manual shows the cam sprocket gear as being marked to match the face of
the cam. Nice, but the replacement gear isn't marked at all!
How can I be sure that I get the new gear on right?
Also, the manual makes no mention of where the crank should be (ie, #1
at TDC) in relation to the cam postion. Am I going to have to buy a
degree wheel and set it up that way?
The engine is on a stand with the head off, so I'd like to get this
right the first time, not when it's back in the car! Any help welcomed!
