CAROL:

A recent thread which I started covered this subject.  You should use an
80W90 or 85W90 hypoid gear lube, rated for GL-4 service.  You'll find
plenty that are GL-5, but they are corrosive to brass parts in your
gearbox.  

Be sure to use a GL-4 lube. Numerous parts stores (Pep Boys, for
example) carry an 85W90 gear oil by "Sta-Lube" that is GL-4. Redline
Lubricants has a product called MTL.  Also, the Roadster Factory is
selling Castrol Hypoy C GL-4 by the quart now.
