People, people, people, You've been so helpful in the past with good
sound advice, I thought I'd put out a new problem for your input. I'm the
guy with the 80 TR7 that had all the "oil, oil everywhere" problem
anout a month ago. I received some good advice back them and I think I
found the leakage. It's the fuel pump gasket. Godd gasoline is very
important in these cars and carburators.

Anyway, my new problem. I bought this car from a sports car restorer.
He's a body shop guy that works mostly on foreign cars. He told me that
all this car needed was a speedometer cable. He bought one, put it on and
I drove the car home. Well, the speed worked OK, but I don't know how
many miles I travel. The odometer is not working. Question...could this
be the wrong cable or does it need a lubrication of some sort? Also the
trip odometer reset control is just hanging under the dash. Does this go
somewhere on the dash? I see no hole or opening for it on the
speedometer. Please offer any advice you can. Always grateful,
j.koelliker@stratos.net
