Hello Group There is no mention in Haynes or Bentley's about replacing con rod bearing bolts when putting in new bearings. Where did the idea come from?...Comp Prep Manual?...Over-cautiousness? By the same reasoning, should the main bearing bolts be replaced also? This is important to me as I am waiting for just the bolts on backorder in order to finish a rebuild. Carl Huppert 75 TR6 |
