Thanks to all, Who have provided some interesting information on the 
terms Limey and Blimey. I can't wait till I one day get the opportunity 
to travel to England. I've never been there. However since the LBC bug 
bit me, I've developed a soft spot in my heart for  anything Brittish.( 
as i sit at the computer, listening to Abbey Road)
