Allan Standiforth's book is pretty good; the Millikan book is
better (but I haven't finished it yet - it's thick!).  Both
are avaiable from Classic Motorbooks.  And, of course, the
"Tune/Prepare/Engineer to Win" books by Carroll Smith are
worth having.
