The current concept is to provide a "flame trap" in the PVC line from the rocker cover to the inlet sustem, so that if there is a backfire in the inlet system, it will not be able to ignite the combustable fumes in the crankcase area. Metal mesh is often used for this purpose. Good luck from some one who does nor miss the 4th of July! |
