Fellow Scions, I removed the engine and tranny from my '75 TR6 over the weekend. Everything went well, uneventful actually, until tonight. I went to disassemble the clutch fork from the shaft, slowly turning the tapered pin and, you guessed it, snap! D$%n!!! Upon inspection, I'm surprised that the DPO didn't snap it off upon assembly. I'd guess that only 20% or so of the steel was not already sheared. But why am I not surprised? Isn't this why we love 'em? Gary '75 TR6 |
