You should have no trouble fitting 185/60-13 tires on 6" wheels under the early roundtail body, given that the wheels have the proper offset. The rears are not as much of a problem as the fronts. In the front of the car, too big tires will foul the firewall when turning, especially if the front suspension bushings are shot, and the control arms have worked their way to the back of the mounting brackets. mjb. |
