Rope trick

Morning all,

Just had a thought, surely when using the rope trick to remove the head, there
would be a tendency to bend any valves that may be open, UNLESS the rocker
shaft is removed....in which case, if the shaft is removed or the tappets
loosened right off, then surely the compression may 'pop' the head!!!!

Just a thought!! I have too much time on my hands at the minute :-)
