Maybe there is a god ? A while back I asked the group for suggestions on why
I get a "Clunk" in the rear end area when I lift my foot on and off the gas
pedal, shifting etc. Many ideas came back but the two most popular ideas
were the two that I fixed.
As it turned out two of the four U joints were trashed, and one half shaft
when you put a hand on each end, and twist it back and forth had a lot of
slop. So I trucked on out to my father in law's to get my spare half shafts
and mix'd and match'd to fix that. Replaced all the U joints and PRESTO, no
more clunk !
Boy is it nice to drive now.Thanks again to all my TR buds....
