Steve,
The entire body of all TR6's were painted (body color),then the semi-gloss
black paint was applied to the tail and the rockers had a black rubberized
coating sprayed on them. Remove the polished aluminum Trim Strips from the
rocker panels and drill out the 6 Rivet Clips on each side. Mask above a line
drawn through the 6 holes, and spray the rubberized coating on the rockers.
It's a good idea to replace the nasty Rivet Clips, available from TRF (part #
567228early) @ .49 ea.
