Just like to say thanks to list members who took the time to reply to my problem
You were all needless to say correct, the pin was left in place as I removed the
slotted nuts in all cases. The reason for this being the fact that I planned a
full restoration and would be replacing most componants (excuse, excuse). This
weekend I hope to remove the ramains of all the pins, this should not be too
difficult, even on the one already in place as the body is off the chassis and
access is good. I was really shocked just how much the pin had blended into the
rest of the thread, and in all four cases!!. Till the next time.
