Hello Robert,
Congratualtions, and welcome.  I cannot help you with your Spitfire, but you
are probably right about being the most northernmost Triumph owner.  I am in
Edmonton, Canada (ca. 53N), where it only seems that I am north of the
Arctic Circle much of the time...
