I sure hope the LBC gods arn't listening but,

When I reinstalled mine last winter, I used rope caulk for the seals, haven't
had
a drop of water in the foot wells even with the wet spring we had. 
Made me happy and didn't lighten my pocket to much. Now I'm not sure if a
concorse judge would pull the tunnel to have a look see so use at your own
risk.
