Jeff: I would not be too concerned with the results of the test. If the engine is not using oil, it would seem that the valve guides and rings are in good condition. That would indicate some wear of the valves and seats, not uncommon for the mileage. I'd be inclined to leave it alone and attend to the carbs, timing and vacuum hoses.
