Greg,
I have installed four (4) Koni shocks on my TR6 (with the rear tube shock
conversion kit from TRF) and I must say that the ride is definetly firmer.
Since they are adjustable you can them through the range of firm to extra
firm to verrrrrry firm. If you like a cushy ride don't buy these. If you
think the TR6 is too soft, Buy These.
I can't comment on the Nylatron bushings as I have only just installed
polyurethane bushings in my car and have yet to finish the rebuild. As for
the springs? I have 205/60 tyres on my car and lost 1 inch of ground
clearence. I must drive onto a 2X4 before I can fit the jack under the
frame. Since these cars have marginal ground clearence to begin with, why
give up some?
If you are going to track race the car Ok. If you are looking for an
enhanced touring car, like I am, then these things must be taken into
consideration. IMHO.
