There are no good alternatives. There is no modern tire that looks like a
Michelin Redline. Some folks don't want their cars to look like gocarts
with oversized gummy tires. Others don't care.
I happen to know Vito is working on a top notch restoration. I think it is
great he is going to the extra effort to preserve a TR-6 in the highest
degree of originality possible.
BTW, there are other sources of Michelin Redlines. Wade Wallace tire in
Dallas, TX and TRF just to name a few.
