> I'M SEARCHING FOR A RING AND PINION SET. RATIO LESS THAN 3.7:1.
> QUESTION; 1) WERE ANY MADE ORIGINALLY? I.E. 3.5:1
I'm only aware of the stock 3.7:1 or the optional 4.1:1 gear set...
There taller ratios that were used by racers (generally for the
long courses). You may want to talk to Ken Gillanders of British Frame
and Engine. I don't have the number here at work, I'll try to remember
to bring it with me tomorrow.
Are you trying for the Land Speed Record?

There's the Ford 9" rear that all the hot rodders love but, I don't
think it's option for IRS cars
