Apart from that it should be pretty much the same as a 1500 spit >engine although the camshaft and compression ratio may be different. >From what I have heard, you can use a 1500 engine with a D-type g/box by using the 1300 clutch cover and the friction plate from a Triumph 1300 saloon which I think used the J-type box with the 20 spline input shaft.....I think!!
