>> I have fitted a Racetoration dampener kit to my TRa4 along with there
stainless easyflow header, the best things since sliced bread,What a
difference to the sweet running of my TR motor, gained at least 3 hp from
getting rid of that awful fan, & another 8 hp from getting rid of the cast
manifold. The old wide fan belt was as i am told was there as a harmonic
dampener,if the belt was loose you could lose the effect as a dampener,as a
Morgan TR owner found out. With the Racetoration kit the pully for generator
is of bigger dia,of course this slows down the generator revs, but the plus
is it has a reverse flow, instead of sucking hot air off the manifold into
the gen,it blows cool air through the gen onto the manifold.I have not found
any problems with flat battery from slow revs of gen {1500 revs before ing
light goes out} & i run a electric fan .
