This message is on behalf of Jerome Rosa (telephone 818/789-5253 or leave a
message on 818/789-1703). Mr. Rosa lives in Encino, his TR4A was stolen
from his locked garage located on Roscoe Blvd. in Northridge. This TR was
taken on Sunday, October 15th or Monday, October 16th.
Car discription: 1967 TR4A California lic plate no TBY723 (black plate
with yellow ltrs)
commission no. CTC61677L
the 4 is red (with white paint showing on hood bubble
due to over polishing); black interior (seat recently
reupholstered); fitted with
black vinyl covered fiberglass hardtop; soft top had
been removed;
the 4 has silver wire wheels; he had holes drilled in
the front grille
and holes drilled in the trunk lid by the license
plate to accomodate
car badges (at the time there were no badges
mounted); this car had
been parked for the last five years and was not in
current registration;
he had removed the battery and the distributor rotor
but is confident
that if these components had been replaced the TR
could have been
driven.
We have been his first contact to try to recover his TR. He is in the
process of talking
to LAPD (C-CATS the stolen vehicle unit). If anyone has additional
suggestions on who
to contact, please let him or us know. Thank you in advance for your help.
