I was the one who wrote in two weeks ago or so about
front side marker lamp assemblies for a spitwad MK4.
Called:
Aurora Auto Wrecking
Seattle, WA
206-524-8700
and got a used set in good condition (rubber frame still
black and uncracked, both lenses in good condition, wiring
harness ok, and bulbs still working) for $40 the pair.
A lot less expense and hassle than the above solution.
Talked to a very knowledgable salesguy, we went through
a list of several wierd and unusual parts no longer
available new or NOS (at least as far as I could find).
Very satisfied with results!
