No Hazzard Lights

Please Help,

With the recent discussion about Randell Jesup's indicators, I thought I would
throw my problem into the pot...

The indicators on my spit work fine, but the hazzard lights don't;  The Haynes
says (BL workshop manual on order) that both use the same flasher unit, so I'm
confused.  any suggestions.
