Greg, and list-- I did just as Greg said when replacing the pivot pin on my 79 spit a couple of years ago. Bolt job works great. Just be sure you do not drop the bolt BEHIND the clutch arm, instead of in the fulcrum hole. I have always been baffled at the design of the falling-out-pin. Did not gravity exist in the engineering offices of Standard Motors? Brian N. |
