Diagnose 1975 Spitfire ignition

What are the quick and easy ways to test a '75 Spitfire ignition that's
getting no spark?  (stock electronic ignition).  I'm assuming the module is
bad, but won't see the car till next week, having never worked on this type
of beast (it's new technology to me!).  I've got a voltmeter and a points
type distributor to swap in for the solid state unit as a sanity check.
