TR4A IRS Chassis Frame

This chassis is probably one of the nicest we've ever seen. The entire rear
section has been replaced. The previous owner cut
the rear three feet out of the rear main members and replaced them. After
installing new ones he has welded gusset plates over
the joints, inside the channels, to make it extremely strong.

Frame has been sandblasted and is essentially free of any rust.

In order to finish this frame for installation it requires a small amount of
welding and must then be painted.

The rearmost section of the boxes where the trailing arm pivot brackets
attach must be welded in. The old rusted ones have
been carefully removed and new plates are included. They need only be welded
in place and properly finished.

Don't be fooled by this small amount of work which needs to be done. This
frame is excellent! The gusset plate on the bottom,
where the main rails meet, is in excellent condition. This frame is not your
typical 'patch job'.

We were very lucky to come across this frame.

Suitable for any TR4 with IRS. Probably adaptable for a TR250 with minor
modification.

US-FRAME-TR4A $699.00

(canadian $)!!

Obsolete Automotive is a full line supplier of British Car parts. We are
located in Point Edward, Ontario, Canada. This is just
across the bridge from Port Huron, Michigan (about 60 miles northeast of
Detroit).

We are dedicated to helping keep classic British cars on the road. We of
course offer a full range of new and used parts. As
well, we publish "Sports Car Chronicles" every month.

This newspaper lists the various parts we have on special each month, but
more importantly, each "Chronicle" is a wealth of
service and restoration information. We work on a large number of British
cars ourselves each month, and the time and money
saving tips and procedures we discover we pass on to you.
