Nigel (TR250) Wrench was fitted with a chromed tube header (6 to 1) on
rebuild 40,000 mi ago. Because it's hot in Hawaii and TR's tend to bring
lot'sa heat in the cab I wrapped the exhaust. It cut down the heat
substantially!
This last week I noticed an exhaust leak sound. Went to look and found that
two (that I could see) pipes had split open and others were crystalized. A
sodt touch and I had a nice free flow.
VB has a three to four week backorder, probably 6 or 7. Moss says they're
not available and TRF says that "... the next available operator will be in
in September, your call will be answered in rotation..." (or equivelant)
Specialty interest is stock only.
SO here it is....
Anyone have any suggestions where I can locate a tube
header quickly?
