It was a 20 minute job tops on my TR6. The oil line is flexible with
preinstalled fittings on each end. It just bolts in. I always use some
Permatex sealer, it very rarely lets me down.
1. Remove oil pressure warning switch, screw in the tee fitting in its place.
2. Screw switch and flexible oil line onto legs of tee fitting.
3. Remove blocking bolt on rear of head, left side, just below valve cover.
The bolt holds nothing, it just closes off the oil passage after the
factory drills it. (Space may be a little tight if you have a TRF plastic
battery tub. I took my battery out, spent an extra 5 minutes.)
4. Bolt the oil line into blocking hole with the supplied banjo bolt. Now
this passage gets more oil direct from the pump.

Like the other correspondent on the subject, I have no idea if it does any
good or harm. Mostly I just hadn't showed the car I loved it for awhile and
I was afraid it would get moody. So I gave it this and a cast valve cover
for its birthday.
