You write:

It could also be caused by worn tie rods (inner or outer), although this
exhibits
itself as more of a "wanting to wander all over the road" than a shimmy.
However,
since the agreed definition of "shimmy" is pretty subjective, I've seen people
who
said they had a "shimmy" that had good brakes, but worn tie rods.
