YES! Windshields for older cars are getting to be an (expensive)
problem. Most manufactures want a specific run number to be practical
for them to make. And few suppliers want to be stockpiling large,
fragile items that are not high sales volume. For years there was a
surplus of old glass that often went cheap to get rid of a supply.
Unfortunately that is changing. if you have a early Mustang , Tri-5
Chevy etc. you are probably OK. But for more obscure cars the situation
is changing.
