The good news (though I live in live in Thousand Oaks) is that the fires (p=
lural) both were wind driven south and avoided the center of town where I l=
ive. The closest the fire got was 8 blocks away. Unfortunately this was not=
good news for those south of here.
Also my daughter frequented the Borderline and nearly went Wednesday night =
for a friends birthday. For whatever reason that didn=E2=80=99t occur and w=
e are grateful she was not present on that night of carnage. So for my hou=
sehold we are doubly blessed to have avoided these heart wrenching situatio=
ns. Thank you for your concern.
