I have been running just a std pulley with the 6 blade Ford fan for
many years. No horn block plates or closed gaps. My Tiger runs fine. If
I'm running on the highway and then get caught in rush hour very slow
traffic the temp does rise; I just pop the hood to let the heat out.
I would think that with your enclosed shroud, horn and gaps closed
you should be OK with the std pulley. Try it and let us know your results.

Subject: [Tigers] Tiger cooling
Hi listers.
I'm testing in hot south Florida weather what i am read on TE/AE about
cooling the Tiger. Yes its work ! In heavy trafic or highway engine stay at
190. I use this patern; Horn and gap between crossmember closed, bottom fan
shroud enclosed, 15 inch maverick fan with standard pitch, Ford Fairmont
smaller fan pulley, 180 thermostat, standard radiator and water pump. No
electric fan. At my mind the most important things are enclosed fan shroud
and 15 inch fan. There is one bad thing, over 3000 rpm the fan make noise
because it pull a lot of air........When i'm be back in Canada i want try
standard fan pulley, is someone have try this patern with standard fan
pulley ?
