If I am not mistaken, Mobile one 75-90 is API GL5 compliant. As such it likely
has high sulfur based additives that attack and can destroy yellow metals (read
brass syncro rings) in manual transmissions. I recommend using Red Line MT 90
Manual Transmission Lubricant which is a SAE 75W90 API GL4 Gear Oil.

Have been using Mobil one 75-90 wt in top loader. Significantly smoother
shifting when cold vs mineral. No leaks. Highly recommend it
