Jerry,
Steves sebring alpine is the only running example of a factory car, and one
of only 2 ex-sebring alpines (the other a harrington) that is still running.
A thrid surviving Sebring alpine is still around awaiting resotration.
There were actually quite a few sebring alpines over the years, both factory
entered and factory supported. The seacrest green cars like steves ran in
1962, there were factory wedgewood blue cars that ran in 1963, along with
the HSC alpine and theodoli harrington.
There is more info on these great cars on steve silversteins GREAT racing
alpines site.

Nice video!
Regarding the Steve Alcala Sebring Alpine, yes it is one of the two (or was
it
three?) original Sebring Alpines that raced there back in the early '60s.
It
went through a long and thorough restoration by Steve over the past nine
years. It has been completed for about two years now.
