This is getting real interesting...
The shop that Tony uses for generator rebuilds and the link Gene sent say to
jump the battery lug and the generator (or armature) lug.
The shop manual and Tony's mechanic say to jump the battery lug and the
field connection.
I've already tried it between the battery connection and the field
connection and I still have a negative charge condition...a little leery to
try it between the battery and armature!
