Tom,
You are definitely correct. At least mine was sent with tongue
carefully embedded in the cheek.
Anyway, to answer your question about chroming a Tiger Air Cleaner, it
has been done. Firstly by Tiger West Coast Distributor as LAT 2
Dress-up Kit, consisting of a polished aluminum "TIGER" rocker cover,
chromed dipstick, chrome radiator cap, chrome oil filler cap, and the
renowned Air Cleaner. The original air cleaner was only chromed on the
top cover. The bottom was stock hammer-tone paint.
The original hold-down nut was hexagonal, not a "wing nut".
The original Dealer Price was $86 List, or $66 Dealer Net.

Does anyone want to sell theirs at 10% over Dealer Net??
