The Hot Rod article states that most chargers will not sense a badly
discharged battery due to low voltage and will not charge it. You hook up
a good battery in parallel with the discharged battery and put the charger
on. The charger will sense the good battery and charge will go to the
discharged battery. The good battery can be taken off the parallel circuit
once the other battery gets it's voltage up.

Just replaced the Optima red top battery in my Tiger after 16 years. Now an
article in the latest Hot Rod shows how to get it to charge again.
Can someone tell us what the Hot Rod article said?
