The new Boss 302 is a SBF not the same as the Cleveland. I think it is
basically a reasonable priced 4bolt main block with screw in freeze plugs.
Would expect it to have the same issues any create motor. They may be for more
modern installs as some comments with reverse rotation pump (serpentine belt
type), rear sump, etc come up on a quick search.

Thanks for the responses
to rocker arm clearance.

Here's another option.  Has anyone checked if one of
the new Boss 302
crate motors will fit.  Those valve covers look awefully
tall.
