[Tigers] convertable top stowage

I recently picked up the metal panels to cover my top when down. I what to
test fit the panels, but can't get my top to go down far enough. I did
manage a 2 inch tear in my top though. I installed the top 20 years ago and
it seems to fit pretty nice. Never had any boot in the past so it didn't
matter. Any ideals out there?  Kevin
