Speedometer Error
Since your first E-mail said that the odometer reads miles correctly, the
problem is in the speedometer head, not the driven gear or wheel size. As
mentioned in previous suggestions, it can be corrected with either the movement
of
the needle on the shaft or adjustment of the hair spring. Some oiling of the
needle shaft bearings and all the other bearings will help. Also mentioned
earlier, the readings may not be linier so make the adjustments so that the
speedometer reads correctly at your favorite speed.
