I guess with more than four times the912's available than the Tiger, one can
more readily adapt the 912.
For what it's worth I have the electric engine, controller etc. out of an
Electrica 007. Basically it was a 1980 Omni 024 fastback purchased less
drivetrain by Jet Industries. Even when gas was $4.50 a gallon it was not
worth it to invest nearly $2,000 in batteries (20 qty. - 6 volts) that had -
maybe a two year life span. Finding an earlier Horizon/Omni or VW Rabbit
(Chrysler used a VW 4 speed) is still something to be found that will match
the motor to tranny plate. Someday..., maybe..., but with my 323 getting
32-45 MPG and gas at $3.50 a gallon it will have to wait. And..., by the
way..., there is NO consideration to put it into the Tiger - Ever!
