I installed a glass rear window in my original Tiger. If you happen to have
a copy of the old TEAE Survivor manual there is a writeup on it (mine). I
think I pulled the idea from a tip in the CAT tips at the time. The glass
was made from an old Chevy Nova front windshield from the 60s. I bought it
at a TEAE United in the 80s. Made the top a little heavy but for sure was a
lot nicer. As I recall, the windshield was cut down about an inch or so all
the way around. It wasn't an exact curvature replacement 99%. So it took a
little muscle to get in but once in it wasn't coming out. Again, my writeup
is in the old Suvivor which I unfortunately sold with the car. The club is
planning on coming out with a new version likely on CD so this tip will be a
available again.
