I'm not a Steve Carell fan either, and I agree with mrlau's observations.
I do have to say, though, that I would like to see a trailer in the movie
theater to better judge if he is right for the part.
I doubt anyone can do justice to the vocal inflections Don Adams used in the
role. They made the part his, much to our enjoyment.
